Welcome to my very first Blog!
Not quite sure what 'Blog' means, but I think it means that I can write a whole lot of useless stuff (something different?!), without having to send emails to a HUGE number of people. I remember last time I traveled that I spent a LOT of time in Internet cafes trying to send out silly emails. So, as I am now a little bit 'less young' (30's not that old!?!) and a little bit wiser, I thought it was time to get over my IT phobia <*shudder*> and create a Blog.
Yup, the "Virgin Blogger" is no more! <*insert clapping and cheering*>
And so it begins...
Ray and I have less than a week in Melbourne now, before we fly to Singapore. Looks like the weather will be hot and wet, but I'm sure that it will be comparable to living in Florida. To be honest, I am looking forward to being warm. I probably should mention that I think Dad will also be happy to see the heating on a lower temperature! We don't have any plans for Singapore yet. Guess we will just have to wing it and enjoy some unplanned 'randomness'. We miss the 'Great Singapore Sale' by 3 days, but it will probably save me a fortune. Besides which, I am sure that I won't have any spare room in my backpack anyway.
After Singapore we are heading to Zurich to stay with Jason, Louise and Garion. Not sure what the exact plans are once we are there, but I'm sure that we'll find some way to entertain ourselves. Lindt factory, here we come!!! Yummy! <*grin*>
After that we will be arriving in the UK. A week with Ronny and Sarah in Cambridge, and then onto visit Katie and Dave in Christchurch. Plans after that are a bit vague... But let's not talk about the current state of my brain any more! <*grin*>
Well, thanks for reading my very first Blog, and sharing this new experience with me. Didn't hurt quite as much as I thought it would, but then I haven't tried to publish it yet!
